Continuing the Momentum – 2022/23 Executive Committee & Board of Directors

The Raleigh Chamber is proud to serve as a connector for our business community. We provide the resources businesses need to start, grow, and succeed in the Triangle region. Our members have access to our membership directory, small business resources, events calendar, job board, sponsorship opportunities, and much more. In addition, we offer a variety of programs and services to help businesses succeed.

It’s been an incredible year, and the Chamber team has achieved outstanding sustainable successes that will continue to positively impact our companies. Check out the accomplishments and upcoming initiatives below.

  • We achieved unprecedented economic development success, with Wake County Economic Development announcing over 8,900 new jobs and over $4 billion in capital investment since the beginning of our current five-year strategy.
  • The Regional Transportation Alliance worked in partnership with the NCDOT to improve the RDU / Aviation Pkwy signal at I-40 and completed the Freeway And Street-based Transit (FAST) study.
  • Our Government Affairs team led a successful Inter-City Visit and Leadership Conference to Salt Lake City, and will enthusiastically support the upcoming bond campaigns for Raleigh parks, Wake County Public Schools, and Wake Technical Community College.
  • We welcomed over 1300 attendees to our annual Diversity, Equity, and Inclusivity Conference through our Triangle DEI Alliance and supported minority businesses to become a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive region.
  • Membership Engagement executed over 175 events to strengthen member businesses and graduated over 100 participants in our Leadership Raleigh program.
  • Our Marketing team launched several successful campaigns for Triangle Small Business Week, Pride Month, National Black Business Month, and more.

The Chamber and its staff are grateful for the dedication and commitment of its 2021/22 Executive Committee and Board of Directors. We are fortunate to have such an engaged and dedicated group of business leaders who volunteer their time and expertise to help us achieve our mission.

We owe a great deal of our success to their support and leadership and are excited to continue working with the 2022/23 Executive Committee and Board of Directors, led by Board Chair, Dan Cahill of Poyner Spruill LLP, to make our region the best place to live and work as we begin a new fiscal year on Oct. 1.

The Executive Committee and Board of Directors represent a variety of industries across our membership and will work closely with Chamber staff and volunteers over the next year to further our mission of building a thriving regional economy, enhancing the community’s quality of life, and strengthening member businesses.
