Vice President Kamala Harris will be traveling the Tar Heel state this week, along with other dignitaries.
On Thursday, Harris will visit Charlotte to speak on the impacts of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, according to a news release from the White House.
Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg and Congresswoman Alma Adams will also be with the vice president.
Harris traveled to North Carolina in April this year also. During that trip, she visited the Center for Advanced Manufacturing at Guilford Technical Community College near Greensboro to tout infrastructure improvements and talk about the administration’s economic policy and the American Jobs Plan. She spoke in High Point as well.
Last week, President Joe Biden also paid a trip to the state to serve an early Thanksgiving dinner to military troops and their families at Fort Bragg in Fayetteville.
