On Christmas Eve in Cary, a woman is now facing a DWI charge after crashing an SUV into a children’s barbershop, according to officials. The incident occurred just after 1:45 p.m. at a business located at 1241 Kildaire Farm Road, within the Saltbox Village shops at High Meadow Drive.
The SUV plowed into a business named Cookie Cutters Haircuts for Kids, which was fortunately closed at the time of the incident. Carolyn Roman, a spokesperson for the Town of Cary, stated that the GMC Acadia SUV ended up completely inside the barbershop, causing extensive damage.
